Special footwear is not even required, although there are plenty to buy if you want. One of the great things about walking for weight loss is that you don't really need to even think about it. You can go by yourself, with a pet, or a radio or MP3 player. It's also a great way to start the day, as well as a fantastic way to wind down at the end of a stressful one.
